The Main House at Creations

What is The Main House?

The Main House is a beautiful retreat center that sits right next door to Creations. It provides meeting facilities and lodging rooms for 24 overnight visitors. The entire house may be rented by adult-based groups including quilting and sewing guilds, hobby groups, family reunions, as well as other group events. The Main House can be rented for as many nights as you desire, with a minimum of 2 nights.

What if my bee or guild doesn't need space for 24 people?
We've got you covered!  We now offer The Main House for 3 sizes of groups: 8, 16, or 24 people. You can bring up to 8 people for $680.00 per night, 9-16 people for $1200.00 per night, or 17-24 people for $1560.00 per night. All rates are per night plus applicable lodging tax.

The 3 most prominent features of The Main House include:

• a large, well-lit studio
• a lounge area for light meals
• 6 guest rooms with a total of 24 twin beds and 9 full bathrooms

The following features of The Main House will make your stay quite fun and comfortable.

The very large studio, which is downstairs, features:

• an "L" shaped sewing/work area for each person
• a Horn deluxe sewing chair for ultra-comfortable seating
• cutting and ironing stations
• overhead lighting suitable for detail work
• optional design boards for sewing and quilting groups
• limited number of sewing machines for rent
• audio/video capabilities
• wireless internet

The lounge, which is downstairs, provides:

• oven, microwave, dishwasher
• refrigerator and ice maker
• tableware and glassware
• complimentary light breakfast
• seating for 30
• a flat screen TV

The lodging, which is upstairs, includes:

• both elevator and staircase access
• 24 twin beds in 6 bedrooms
• 9 full bathrooms
• individually climate controlled rooms
• bed and bath linens provided
• a hair dryer in each room
• sitting area with a flat screen TV
• laundry facilities
• one guest room with an ADA "accessible" bathroom

Rental Policies for The Main House:

• The Main House is a pet free and smoke free establishment.
• Children are allowed only as part of predominantly adult event, such as a family reunion.
• The Main House cannot accommodate activities such as dyeing and painting.
• All reservations at The Main House allow you to check-in beginning at Noon on your first night.
• Check-out for all reservations is at 4:00pm on your last day.

The Main House Rental Price:

The Main House is rented on a nightly basis for 3 sizes of groups: 8, 16 or 24, for a minimum of 2 nights.

All rentals include the studio and  the lounge in addition to the appropriate number of lodging rooms to accommodate the group size.

Prices for the rental options are as follows:

The Main House for 8: $680.00 per night. This includes 2 lodging rooms (a 3-bed room and a 5-bed room). This option allows up to 8 people.

The Main House for 16: $1200.00 per night. This includes 4 lodging rooms (two 3-bed rooms and two 5-bed rooms). This option is for 9 to 16 people.

The Main House for 24: $1560.00 per night. This includes all lodging rooms (three 3-bed rooms and three 5-bed rooms). This option is for 17-  24 people.
